Transfer Requirements

To be considered for transfer admission to Duke, you must have completed at least one year of college coursework at an accredited institution. In addition, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Strong academic record in college coursework
  2. Good standing at your current institution
  3. Completion of prerequisite coursework for your intended major

Please note that transfer admission is highly competitive, and meeting these requirements does not guarantee admission.

Application Requirements

To apply as a transfer student, you will need to submit the following materials:

  3. Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
  4. High school transcript and standardized test scores (if you have completed fewer than two years of college coursework)

Application Deadlines

Duke accept credit for courses completed at other accredited institutions, provided that the courses are similar in content and rigour to those offered at Duke.
