The Middle America Scholarship

The Middle America Scholarship is a need-based scholarship program that gives financial assistance to students from select Midwestern states who attend Mid-Atlantic universities. The scholarship is designed to support students who demonstrate financial need to afford the cost of higher education.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Middle America Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a resident of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, or Wisconsin.
  • Be admitted to a participating Mid-Atlantic university as a full-time undergraduate student.
  • Demonstrate financial need as resolved by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

The scholarship provides up to $8,000 per academic year for eligible students who attend a participating Mid-Atlantic university. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years, provided the student maintains satisfactory academic progress and continues to demonstrate financial need.
