  • Harvard University:  Harvard University is a private Ivy League research university in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. Harvard was established in 1636 as a Puritan colony, the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States. The school has produced many notable alumni, including eight U.S. presidents, 37 Nobel laureates, 67 Pulitzer Prize winners, and 76 MacArthur Fellows.

U.S. Universities Admission Process

The admission process for U.S. universities differs from that for U.K. universities. The U.S. university’s admission process involves a written test and an interview.

The written test is usually a standardized test like the SAT or ACT, but it can also be one of the exams you send in advance (e.g., A.P. scores). You can expect this part of your application to take place in October or November each year, depending on which school you’re applying to and when they start accepting applications.

You’ll need good high school grades and test scores to get into an Ivy League college!
